Slow News Day...

Posted on 2010.04.20 at 13:04

Livejournal has been excruciatingly slow today...it took ages to upload images, tag and to post...anyone else having this trouble?

Anyway, not much again this week, just 6 scans uploaded to the galleries. Radio Times, TV Times, WOTV. SPOILERCollapse )Enjoy

I am not a Dalek, I am a free (wo)man....

Posted on 2010.04.13 at 11:56
Yes another lean week I'm afraid. The Radio Times this week has a choice of three covers - red, blue and yellow Daleks with the slogan 'Vote Dalek' - Interesting to note that in my part of the world I only found one yellow cover and that was a very beaten up copy... a sign perhaps?

Yes Radio Times is all about Who/election this week so not much in there, three scans. Have also uploaded scans from TV Times and WOTV but the big story this week is the new version of The Prisoner which starts on Saturday.

I have just uploaded the few bits that appeared in this weeks mags (only Radio Times and TV Times) plus a scan I managed to miss uploading to the RT gallery last week - funny but spoilerish so beware.

Thanks to those of you who noticed a problem on life_in_print  with downloading Mini Sam and Mini DCI Hunt from the old link. I have fixed the problem (hopefully) and you should be able to access the downloads - click on the word 'Download' this time - to install your mini friends

Winning back the Ashes...

Posted on 2010.03.23 at 12:33
It's that time again..time to dig out as many coppers (of the coin type rather than the police) as I can find down the back of the sofa, raid the piggy bank and get myself down to the shops to buy magazines.

Yes, Ashes to Ashes returns for the final series on Good Friday, 2nd April and its scanning time again.

I have uploaded 29 new scans from Radio Times, TV Times,TV & Satellite Week, TV Choice, What's on TV, Total TV Guide into their respective galleries. (Why oh why does Radio Times in particular have to be too big for my scanners past and present?) The scans are not as good as I would have liked but my poor old machine does its very best and I have enhanced them as much as I can.

Don't forgot that there may be spoilers lurking...enter at your peril.

I hope you enjoy them and don't forget to leave your comments.

Hooray for SFX...

I have just uploaded a new 4 page article 'After the Guv has Gone'
from SFX, on series 3 of Ashes to Ashes. Find it in the SFX gallery.

Over on Life in Print there is a DVD review of LOM US in the LOM US gallery.

Enjoy peeps...

Galleries now open to all...

Hello everyone,

Long time, no post!

I have decided to reinstate all the Galleries to public settings - visible to all. I would ask that users comment so I can keep track of what people like/dislike, etc. Please only post comments on this site (not on TRA - much as I love it there I would like to be able to see what you have to say without trying to find comments on their site.)

A New Scan and some exciting news.....

Posted on 2009.07.16 at 11:01

Hello Peeps,

No, I haven't forgotten you but I have been rather busy. I have been promoting a Drawing Competition for 16 year olds and under, in association with Friday Ad and the lovely people at Derwent who have given us some prizes. If you know anyone in this age range get them to go to
and click on the competition link...they could see their drawing turned into a cartoon and put on the side of our van alondside work from exciting Childrens Illustrators such as
Russ Daff, Marjorie Knight and Milena Jahier!
(plus a pack of goodies)
Sci Fi Now Ashes to Ashes Series 2 review has just been added to the Sci Fi Now gallery...enjoy!
